Jade

Imagine for a moment that beneath our civilized exteriors, we all harbor a wild spirit, much like the untamed beauty of nature itself. As the brilliant poet Mary Oliver once asked, "What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" This question invites us to explore our intrinsic need to connect with the natural world. In my art, I aim to capture that restless yearning, conveying emotions through vibrant colors that aren’t just seen, but truly felt. Just as Kandinsky noted, colors have a language of their own, speaking to our souls and reminding us that, at our core, we are all beautifully wild creatures navigating this extraordinary journey called life.

In Jade, what started as a live portrait blossomed into a vibrant exploration of her inner beauty, highlighted by a lush green background. I envisioned exotic flowers swirling around her face, partially veiling her, capturing her intriguing shyness and captivating allure.
